Hi, I use outlook 2016 - I initially purchased this software when it first came out and I was able to include a nice number of bright colors in my daily calendar.. I can in NO way add any extra color anywhere in my calendar I now have a very limited number of dull colors which I choose via the View-Color tab up on top and whatever color I choose, ALL my reminders appointments show ONLY one single color all over.. I have a lot of appointments reminders my calendar used to look really pretty with lots of different bright colors per day, per week and per month.. Contract groups created in OWA also can not be synchronized with Outlook 2011/2016 for Mac.. Hi, I appreciate your help Ben I still can not locate it I was able to bring up the pop up menu and I clicked onto Properties (exactly as is shown on the link-example) but it does not have the 'upgrade to color categories' button at all. Color categories allow you to easily identify and group associated items in Outlook for Office 365, Outlook 2019, Outlook 2016, Outlook 2013, Outlook 2010.. I deleted the 2016 version and reinstalled it back in and the same thing occurred again (where it also automatically reinstalled the older version).. Why did I have all the colors available before and now I do not?And if there is a way to bring back in all the bright colors (I think there was a total of 24) in my calendar, can anyone let me know how? Thank you, Libby.. Then I clicked all the other tabs one at a time as I thought maybe it might be elsewhere and nope.. I do this by: 1 Right clicking new appointment 2 On the top there was an option (I forgot what it was called) and a drop down menu appeared with a variety of bright colors I chose whatever color I wanted and went from there. Appointments are shown in the UTC time zone (Exchange 2010 only) Accodring to Microsoft, the issue can be fixed only by upgrading to a later Exchange version.. It was really nice Over a week ago my computer had problems with Windows 7 (I use a desktop) and after I had Windows 7 reinstalled by an experienced technician, the colors on my outlook 2016 calendar completely disappeared.. Thank you, Libby I agree I asked my technician that and he did not do it in fact when he researched my computer for a while, he said he could not imagine why the 2010 version was automatically reinstalled.. The above button is completely removed, which makes it feel like I hit a 'dead end'. 3
outlook shared calendar colors missing
I use only the 2016 version because it looks nicer and all my stuff is there (in the 2016 software).. Why is this button gone? When I reinstalled Microsoft Office 2016, it also automatically installed Microsoft Office (Professional) 2010 on my computer (I always purchased the Professional version) apparently the 2016 version put back in the 2010 version. ae05505a44 HERE
